Rossi: tough 2010 with Biaggi & Lorenzo

Friday, 29 October 2010 14:22 by rm

This Saturday, October 30th, Italian TV channel Italia 1 will air an exclusive interview with Valentino Rossi, as part of their Studio Sport XXL program.  Here are some highlights:

Speaking about next year at Ducati.

“Things will be more difficult with Ducati then they were with Yamaha, because everyone is expecting us to win right away - Rossi commented - what motivates me?  Passion and the desire to finish first.  But winning isn't the only thing that makes me happy.  When a day is going to be special, you can feel it when you wake up in the morning, but that doesn't mean it is doubt free."

Speaking of the two major championships won this year, MotoGP and WSBK: “2010 has seen both Lorenzo and Max Biaggi win, so it could not have gone any worse.”

Valentino also spoke about his favorite football club, Inter Milan: “Inter gave me a lot of satisfaction during this sporting season.  I liked Mourinho a lot, but Benitez is showing that he is a very smart coach. Ibrahimovic? I'm not the nostalgic type.  But even I once asked the president of Barcellona to give us Messi."

And finally, Rossi said something we have never heard him speak about before: “My dream is to become a father.”
