In the build up to the French GP, Lucio Cecchinello has granted us and extensive Skype interview. For technical reasons, we have divided it into three parts.

In the first part, we discuss Motogp. The Italian manager shares his thoughts on the "silly season" that has started so extremely early this year, after only two races have been run. According to Cecchinello, "Honda did well to start working on things so soon. By taking advantage of the fact that Stoner’s results haven’t been great thus far, this could factor into his decision."

Moving on to the fact that LCR was the first Honda team to use Ohlins suspension, Cecchinello reveals how his team helped the HRC technicians with the adaptation and the geometry of the suspension linkage for the RC212V.

In the second part of the interview, we asked Cecchinello if the current Honda would suit Stoner who already has experience on the Japanese brand, specifically in LCR colors. Lucio’s response: "Yes, I think so."

In the third and final part, we talk about Moto2 as well as the Eco Style project which is helping to make team LCR more environmentally friendly.
