MotoGP: Enea Bastianini risks missing first day of testing in Qatar

Enea Bastianini risks missing the first day of testing in Qatar. In fact, the rider from Rimini did not leave yesterday for Doha on the charter organized by Ducati for its riders and staff. It’s all the fault of the Covid swab, which gave an unclear result. This was enough to keep him back in Italy.

Enea has already undergone two other tests (one quick and one traditional) and both tested negative, but he will not be able to leave for Qatar until Thursday. This means that he will arrive in Doha in the evening and, at the airport, shehe will have to undergo another swab and quarantine at the hotel waiting for the result, which should arrive within 24 hours.

Times, however, are very tight and Bastianini risks not getting the green light in time to start testing on Friday, a day reserved for testers and rookies. If so, he will have to wait until Saturday to get on his Ducati for the first time.
