The last image we have of her on a bike dates back to that damned September 10th when, during a test in Estoril, she fell and fractured her D4 and D6 vertebrae.
And that’s when Ana Carrasco’s ordeal began, between surgery, hospitalizations, and rehab. But there’s finally a light at the end of the tunnel, because Ana received the okay from her doctors today to get back on her bike.
She did it on the Sallent circuit in Catalonia, taking advantage of the favorable weather conditions. So here she is in the photo she posted on her social media profiles, happy with her helmet and suit. Now all she has to do is sharpen her weapons for the start of the season.
