The new MotoGP season is fast approaching and the first chance to see the riders in their new teams and with their new colours will be in the winter tests. At the moment, the first tests are scheduled for Sepang from 19 to 21 February, although Malaysia is facing a new wave of coronavirus and that appointment might not take place.
What is certain is that on February 15 the official Yamaha team will make its presentation and it will be on the web. 2021 will be an important year for the Iwata manufacturer which has revamped half of the garage. With Valentino Rossi out, his place will be taken by Fabio Quartararo, who will be paired with the reconfirmed Maverick Vinales.
Yamaha has decided to focus on youngsters and has done so by choosing two undisputed talents, who will also have to demonstrate that they are mature enough to compete for the title to the very end, something that neither the Frenchman nor the Spaniard have succeeded in doing up to now.
Before we find out how they will go on the track, in mid-February we will be able to see them in their new colours and their 2021 season will officially get underway.
