At the stroke of midnight, 2021 began, as did a new chapter in Valentino Rossi’s career: still in Yamaha, but with the colors of the Petronas team. The Doctor wasted no time and wanted to wish a Happy New Year to all MotoGP fans and enthusiasts while wearing his new colors.
And he did this with a short video (see above).
“Happy New Year to all,” he said. “I’m really happy to join the Petronas Yamaha team for 2021. I’ve seen what the team has done over the past two years and am excited to find out what we can do together. I can’t wait to work with the team and get on the track.”
To see Valentino on the Malaysian team’s M1, we’ll still have to wait over a month. The first tests of the year are scheduled for mid-February in Sepang, where the Petronas team will also be officially presented.
