A year ago Valentino Rossi and Lewis Hamilton were the protagonists of a special and unforgettable day for both. At Valencia, the two swapped their ‘crown jewels’: the Doctor got into the Mercedes Formula 1 car and Lewis got his hands on the Yamaha M1 MotoGP bike.
To commemorate that day, Monster has released a behind-the-scenes video (see it above) of that event. Starting with the training of the two champions, with Morbidelli as instructor for Hamilton and Valentino getting to grips with the simulator.
Then the big day and the two riders chatting in the garage, just like any enthusiast who receives a beautiful gift. So Lewis asked Rossi for information about the riding position and Valentino joked after getting out of the Mercedes: “It was like being in a washing machine”.
