After three years, Lorenzo Baldassarri has returned to the Forward team and found a new bike waiting for him, the MV Agusta. A new adventure will begin for the man from the Marche in 2021 and he had a taste of it in Jerez, in the Moto2 winter tests.

"In these two days on the new bike I must say that the sensations have been good, despite the different position on the saddle, when you start pushing the bike it responds well - Balda commented - When I got on my F2 for the first time I thought that it would have been like starting from scratch, but it wasn’t. I expected everything to be completely different but I like the set-up and the line. The bike responds well, and this is really interesting, a great opportunity for me. This winter we will work to improve what we can and better prepare for the start of the new season. I had fun on the track and did some good laps, even if the conditions were not optimal. On the track I found some patches of wet, I made some mistakes and in fact I crashed on the last lap at the last corner. Now it's time to rest and recharge the batteries to start 2021 in the best possible way. Returning to the team after 3 years is strange, there are new members I don't know even though the boss is the same, there is a lot of energy and the guys send me a lot positivity and desire to do well and this is important ".

Alongside Baldassarri there will be the reconfirmed Simone Corsi, who was also on track in Spain.

"It was a positive day, in fact, compared to Thursday the weather was better – he summed up - We tried new settings and I'm happy despite the fact that the weather conditions were not perfect, in fact the track never dried out completely, so I was able to push hard. We preferred to focus on technical elements rather than speed. Now we go home and are already thinking about next season, we will try to arrive energized and in shape ready to get good results ”.
