The FIM ruling that decided to punish Yamaha only in the Constructors’ and Teams’ championships, for having replaced the valves of its engines in the Jerez Grand Prix, has made more than one person turn up their noses in the paddock. Also because that race was won by Quartararo with Vinales 2nd…

Davide Brivio, Suzuki team manager, expressed his opinion to Sky TV's microphones.

"This sentence casts a shadow over Yamaha’s championship because in the first race a lot of points were scored with illegal bikes - he said - We respect the sentence, in the end the Constructors' and Teams' championships are not very important in MotoGP; if you win them you advertise them, if you lose them nobody takes any notice".
