The win for Jaume Masia at the Teruel Grand Prix was the 800thwin for Honda in Grand Prix racing, a week after he became the 100th different winner for the marque in the Aragon GP.
Honda’s closest rival in Grand Prix racing is Yamaha with 510 wins, followed by Aprilia (294), MV Agusta (275) and Suzuki (159).
In the premier class, Honda also leads the way with 309 race wins ahead of Yamaha (235), MV Agusta (139), Suzuki (94) and Ducati (51).
Marc Marquez is the most successful Honda rider in Grand Prix racing with 56 wins ahead of Dani Pedrosa and Mick Doohan with 54 wins each.
