MotoGP, Rivola: "Having Dovizioso on the market and not trying to sign him would be stupid"

Aprilia awaits Iannone's hearing at TAS next Thursday to decide its future: "these are going to be three intense weeks"

MotoGP: Rivola:

Next week will be a very important one for Aprilia, seeing as on Thursday Andrea Iannone will appear in front of the CAS, which is required to decide his future on the doping suspension he is currently serving. The future of the Noale manufacturer will depend on the court ruling.

"On Thursday there will be the hearing in Lausanne, we'll see what Wada will bring - said Massimo Rivola, CEO of Aprilia Racing, to the microphones of Sky TV - I hope the sentence will arrive, if not the same day, soon because we just can't wait for it anymore".

In Noale they have been waiting for Iannone before making any decisions on the team for next year, but in recent days there have been rumours of an approach to Andrea Dovizioso, currently without a ride for 2021.

“Having Dovizioso on the market and not trying to sign him would be stupid, the next three weeks will be intense because a lot of things will be decided, but we haven't made an offer yet,” confirmed Rivola.
