Johnny Rea is ready to sharpen his weapons and get his hands on his sixth world title. The first match ball will be Magny-Cours, a track that has made him smile several times in the past. So he’s really aware of everything in view of the next round.

But he can’t let his guard down: “They’ve recently resurfaced the track, so we have to be careful,” the Cannibal stated. “We’ll also find weather conditions colder than usual in Magny Cours, and it’s also threatening to rain.”

He also spoke about the layout of the track: “This is a unique track, with several stops and gos, lots of acceleration, and quick changes of direction. I was able to be strong in the past, but we need confirmation. The goal is still the same, that is,  to win races and take it one step at a time.”

On the other side of the garage, we’re expecting a signal from Alex Lowes: “Too bad there are only two rounds,” the British rider commented. “This is my first season with Kawasaki, and I would have liked more time to gain confidence. I’m going to France with the goal of obtaining an important result, trying to adapt to the track.”
