Honda can breathe a sigh of relief after the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix in which it participated with only two riders. While waiting to see when Marc Marquez will return, at Barcelona his RC213V will again be occupied by Stefan Bradl.

The German test rider at Misano had been stopped by problems in his arm, which had been operated on a few days before the GP. His presence in Spain was not 100% sure, but today the official confirmation has arrived that he will be there.

“My arm is feeling much better - assured Bradl – It was a hard decision not to race in Misano but it was the best one for me and everyone else. Now with a week of rest, I am feeling good and motivated to return. I have had some good results in the past in Barcelona on the Honda but we need to see where we are this year. "

For Alex Marquez it will be his home race and he arrives after a good second GP at Misano, in which he showed progress in his rookie season.

"We arrive in Barcelona in a good way after our best result so far - he recalled his 7th place in Italy - I am happy with the progress we have made and I’m looking forward to riding in Catalunya with the Honda. Of course, it will be a different experience to normal and I will certainly miss seeing all the home fans in the stands because this is always a special feeling. Hopefully we can put on a good show for everyone so they can enjoy the race like they were here ”.
