MotoGP: Portimao test: the MotoGP riders will also be there, but with production bikes

The announcement that the season finale of the 2020 FIM MotoGP World Championship will be held at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão has now been followed by the confirmation of two days of testing on the Portuguese circuit. The tests will take place on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 October, just before the French Grand Prix.

The test is primarily intended for MotoGP manufacturer test teams and will allow the teams to collect valuable data, as well as technical suppliers, in view of Portimão's debut on the calendar.

Among the test riders present will be Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha), Michele Pirro (Ducati), Dani Pedrosa (KTM) and Stefan Bradl (Honda).

Some riders from the MotoGP class will be present on Wednesday 7 October. They will only ride production bikes to familiarize themselves with the track.
