After the Brno Grand Prix, it was not only Binder, Bastianini and Foggia who toasted with Prosecco on the top step of the podium. Carlo Pernat also allowed himself a glass of sparkling wine to remember the race that has just finished and prepare for the double appointment at the Red Bull Ring.

The Italian manager has not only limited himself to analysing the Czech GP but has dusted down his crystal ball to try and understand what awaits us in Austria.

"We go to KTM’s track and I have the impression that racing at home they are the favourites - says Pernat - Right now, with Marquez absent, we have to think race by race and I think that Aprilia will also have some good opportunities in the next few races. Like the KTM, it has the advantage of concessions, therefore more engines for the season and the possibility of organizing tests ”.

Carlo, however, has a special observation to make on a circuit where the engine is king. It's Yamaha…

"I see it a bit suffocated - he warns - When 5 engines are punched in 3 Grands Prix, it is assumed that there is some problem and its extent will have to be assessed during the championship. It is a red alert ”.

And it’s not the only one…

“Let's hope for Ducati, if it doesn't get back to a competitive level on the track where it has always won, when will we see it ever? Something has gone wrong in the development if Zarco with the old Desmosedici was faster in Brno than the riders with the factory bike” he commented.

If you want to have a toast with Pernat, watch the video above. The next appointment with Fast by Prosecco will be after the Austrian Grand Prix. Cheers!
