MotoGP: Bagnaia expects faster recovery as ligaments not involved in the fracture

Crutches and a large brace on his right leg, was how Pecco Bagnaia returned to the Pramac team box after completing the medical examinations at Brno hospital. Unfortunately, in the crash during FP1, he fractured his tibia, but checks ruled out any further complications.

"Luckily, the fracture did not involve the ligaments of the knee so the recovery time will be faster" said the Italian rider.

"Tomorrow morning, I will return to Italy to be operated on as soon as possible" he added.

Dr. Pascarella will operate on him in Ancona hospital; if further tests confirm that the ligaments have not been injured, it will be possible to proceed with arthroscopy.
