Marc Marquez didn't make it. His pain got the upper hand. After deciding to get back on the bike in the FP4, he had to raise the white flag in qualifying.

The Spanish rider had tried to race seven consecutive laps in the last free practice session, to see how his arm would hold up.

A few minutes later, he was back on his Honda in the Q1. He got on the track, but didn’t complete his starting lap. He returned to the pit and left his RC231V in the hands of the mechanics, before leaving the garage and getting into his truck.

At this point, his weekend seems to be over, but we’re still waiting for an official statement.

Shortly after, the team confirmed: Marc Marquez will not be back on track for the Q1.

Poco dopo è arrivato la conferma del team: Marc Marquez non tornerò in pista per le Q1.
