MotoGP, Marc Marquez: "the only objective is to see my conditions in FP3"

"After that, we will decide our next objective. I slept quite well; I am obviously in pain but the physiotherapy sessions have been good for me"

MotoGP: Marc Marquez:

Marc Marquez was at Jerez today and he also had his hands on a handlebar, the one of the scooter with which he moved around the paddock. As explained yesterday, the Honda rider left his race bikes in the garage so he could rest one day more after the humerus operation he underwent on Tuesday.

"Yesterday I arrived at the circuit after the operation in Barcelona and passed the medical test in the afternoon. It means I can ride, and after discussing with Honda we decided to start directly on Saturday,” he explained.

Yesterday he spent the night in the circuit…

“I have slept quite well, I am obviously in some pain, but we have had physiotherapy sessions with my physio that have been quite good for me,” he said.

Only tomorrow morning, however, will he be able to see what sort of condition he is in and whether he will be able to ride his RC213V and take part in the race.

“With the team we have set ourselves only one objective, which is to see our feelings tomorrow in FP3,” he declared. “Let's see how the arm is and from there we will decide our next objective. Thanks to everyone for their support, these have been hard days but with the support of HRC, the Repsol Honda Team, all the sponsors and fans who love the sport just as I do, it seems easier."
