“Doing twenty laps in a row. Unfortunately, it is not yet automatic for me to ride the Ducati. In fact, I have to learn, memorize and then put into practice. Every time I have to follow this procedure. For this reason, I still cannot exploit the bike’s full potential, to be constant, let alone reach the limit ".
So is it up to you to take a step towards the Ducati or vice-versa?
“The Ducati and I are helping each other and for this reason I want to improve. This is the biggest step I need to take to be fast. As I said I am trying to understand and memorize everything to find the right direction to follow. 80% it depends on me, 20% on the bike. "
Is there any particular Ducati rider you followed on the track today?
“I followed Miller for a long time, because at the moment he is very fast with the Ducati. Dovi is absolutely perfect on the bike, he never makes a mistake. Precisely for this reason I prefer to focus on Jack. However, I must say that Andrea followed me this morning when I did my fast lap, expressing, among other things, nice words towards me. He is a fantastic rider who knows how to ride at his best when under pressure. "
What do you expect from Saturday morning FP3?
"To be in the top ten tomorrow and guarantee me direct access into Q2. I'll have to try and do a great job tomorrow morning to improve and be quick. "
