MotoGP, Rossi and his Italian "brothers": group photo in times of Covid19

The traditional photo of all the Italian riders ready to face the MotoGP season this year has an extra touch, which will make us forever remember how strange this 2020 has been

MotoGP: Rossi and his Italian

The photo taken at the beginning of each season, which portrays the group of Italian riders ready to face the MotoGP challenge, has now become a tradition that has lasted for several years. So, even this year, Valentino Rossi, Franco Morbidelli, Danilo Petrucci, Andrea Dovizioso, and Pecco Bagnaia didn't hold back. Unfortunately, Andrea Iannone wasn't there. His fate is still tied to the CAS's decisions.

But this photo has a very special meaning this time, since the riders were all wearing masks, following safety protocol with great diligence. When looking at this photo in the future, we'll remember what we went through and the period that is unfortunately still an emergency in many parts of the world.

But now everyone can try to start living a somewhat normal life because, beginning tomorrow, these guys will be pushing their MotoGP bikes to the max and preparing to offer us their usual show on Sunday during the races. Everything has changed, spectators won't be present, nor will reporters, but the adrenaline on Sunday will be just as high for those who love this sport and are grateful that they can finally enjoy the entertainment it still has to offer.
