Krummenacher leaves MV Agusta after only one race, Phillip Island, due to "serious breaches made by the company that compromise both the rider’s performance, as well as his professionalism, reputation, and personal safety." This is what was written in the press release issued by the SSP600 world champion a few moments ago.
"It’s not a pleasant situation. On the contrary, I’m facing everything I would never have wanted to,” Krummenacher explained. “The goal was to fight for the world title again but, unfortunately, the foundations needed to move ahead with this project in MV Agusta Reparto Corse aren’t there. I had to reach this decision to preserve my moral and professional integrity, as well as my safety. Throughout my career, I’ve always tried to do the right thing, giving it my all in any situation, even the most difficult ones. But, this time, this decision was necessary."
