MotoGP, Dovizioso: "2017 changed me and I never looked back"

"I had my personal evolution that year, also in the garage. I learned to better understand and manage certain situations."

MotoGP: Dovizioso:

The races are about to start again, and the riders are sharpening their weapons in view of July 19th, when the curtain will rise in Jerez. Besides the usual training, there have also been traditional live chats. Remember to watch Carlo Pernat today, at 3 pm, where the market will also be discussed.

Along with the manager from Genoa, Dovizioso also made some statements during a chat with Sky reporter Vera Spadini. The rider from Forlì spoke of an important year in his career, namely  2017, when he dueled it out with Marquez for the world title until the final stage in Valencia.

The Ducati rider wanted to discuss this, related to himself: "Important results occur for many reasons,"  he said. "2017 was an important year because I had my personal evolution, both in the garage and on the bike. Getting to know people, I started understanding various dynamics of life that help you better manage certain situations."

From that moment, something changed inside Andrea: "When you're at the maximum level, small details can create a different situation and, from that moment, I never looked back," he added. "It would have been too easy if this change had come only from me."
