Lecuona anticipates his MotoGP debut: racing with the KTM in Valencia

Iker Lecuona will anticipate his MotoGP debut on the Tech3 team's KTM. The Spanish rider, who signed a contract with the French team for 2020, will race in the premier class in the Valencia Grand Prix, replacing Miguel Oliveira.

The Portuguese rider recently underwent surgery following an injury to the ligaments in his right shoulder and already began rehabilitation in view of the tests in Sepang in February. Lecuona received the go-ahead from Eitan Butbul, owner of the American Racing team for which the Spanish rider currently races in Moto2, so he'll be able to get on the RC16 as early as next week.
