The official poster of the OCTO Grand Prix of San Marino and of the Riviera of Rimini was unveiled, scheduled for the Misano World Circuit on September 15th, one of the most anticipated appointments of the MotoGP calendar and that, the entire week before, will involve a Riders' Land that is ever more dynamic and full of new talents from the forefront of worldwide motorcycling.
The MotoGP promoters joined designer Aldo Drudi in dedicating the poster to Valentino Rossi, in the season during which he celebrated his 40th birthday, as a sign of gratitude for the fundamental role he plays in fueling a passion for motorcycling in the Riders' Land.
Graphically, the poster is consistent with the image that, from the texture of the Marco Simoncelli ride-off areas, radiates across the territory and characterizes the communication of the great event scheduled in the heart of the Motor Valley. A project started by MWC and that, for three years, has been enriched by the genius of Aldo Drudi, an internationally renowned designer famous on the motor sports scene for his creativity and unmistakable style.
ALDO DRUDI: "I DEDICATED THE POSTER TO VALENTINO ROSSI"
"The poster of the San Marino and Riviera of Rimini 2019 GP," said Aldo Drudi, "starts from the graphics used in the previous editions but, for the first time, the subject, the rider, can be identified. For his 40th birthday, I wanted to pay a tribute to Valentino Rossi by choosing him as the star, redesigning and hand-coloring a beautiful image taken by Gigi Soldano that depicts him from above when bending."
CARMELO EZPELETA: "WE'RE EXPECTING ONE OF THE MOST ANTICIPATED STAGES OF THE MOTOGP CALENDAR"
The 2019 proposal was welcomed by Dorna Sports: “The poster of the San Marino and Riviera of Rimini Grand Prix ," commented Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports, "is a consolidated communications event that introduces one of the most anticipated stages of the MotoGP calendar. This year's poster is really intense and communicates emotions!”
AT MWC, TWO MOTO-E RACES
Two races of the MotoE, which debuted last weekend at the Sachsenring with the first historic victory by Finnish rider Niki Tuuli, will enrich the program of OCTO Grand Prix of San Marino and the Riviera of Rimini. A new category, which indicates a perspective of sustainability for motor sports and also with several riders from the Riders' Land on the track.
"The extraordinary adventure that began in 2007 ," stated the promoters of the Grand Prix of San Marino and the Riviera of Rimini," raised the bar of objectives to be achieved in the face of economic investment, which is very well compensated for the benefit of the hospitality industry, as shown by the studies completed."
MAKE WAY FOR THE PROMOTION OF THE OCTO GRAND PRIX OF SAN MARINO AND THE RIVIERA OF RIMINI
The presentation of the 2019 poster of the OCTO Grand Prix of San Marino and the Riviera of Rimini also launches its promotion plan, so far, mainly involving the campaign of discounts on the purchase of tickets, which ended July 4th, with a result that was perfectly in line with the previous edition.
AT THE END OF JULY, THE PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT IN MILAN
The next appointment is already set for the end of July in Milan and will be an opportunity to focus on the contents that, in addition to the sporting aspect, characterize the event that will see its heyday in mid-September at the Misano World Circuit. The project will be presented before an audience linked to the world of design and lifestyle, a project that brings together the elements summarized by the poster and that generates the ecosystem that will introduce the races through the events of the program of The Riders' Land Experience.
