MotoGP: Lorenzo like Mr. Wolf: "I solve problems"

Jorge Lorenzo has ringed the date of the Jerez GP in red, one of his favourite tracks at which he hopes to turn his first season with Honda around, the year not having got off to the best start. The same was true two years ago with the Ducati, but Jorge was able to score his first podium with the red bike in Spain.

“This race is more important than usual, I'm at my lucky track and everything is looking good. The weather should be good, the new asphalt should offer better grip, I feel better physically and am only lacking a little mobility in my wrist, even the bike is faster: I can only see positives. Now I have to get on track and demonstrate my full potential”.

He has the right attitude and Honda too has spent the two-week break working to resolve the issues that affected the Majorcan at Austin. his RC213V headed to Japan before being transported to Spain.

The problem I suffered at Austin came up during practice, but they made changes to the electronics to solve that. I can't say any more than that".

Now that this doubt has been cleared up, Lorenzo can focus on himself. Though he knows it will be no walk in the park.

I've got used to solving problems in my career - recalling Mister Wolf in Pulp Fiction -I've never lost my passion and have always continued to work. Everyone wants to win all the time of course but there are also moments in life where we must learn".

And he's already shown that he knows how to do that.

It's essentially the same path I was on with Ducati in trying to become fast at every track. This bike requires a totally different riding style and I have to adapt. Then other aspects came into play, because over the last 6 or 7 months I haven't been able to train as I wanted due to my injuries. Now things are better, I'm just lacking a little experience with the Honda”.

Lorenzo doesn't like to get too hung up on the past, and prefers not to dwell on last year's race.

A new year, new bike, new team, and new life - jokes the Majorcan -I don't even remember what happened, it was just bad luck. I focus on the present and know that right now I don't have the consistency I want - you can't win titles by going fast only at tracks you like.

But it would be a good starting point.
