In Ducati they have never been 'soft' to their riders. And the list of those who complained afterwards is long. However, this episode happened to two great riders, Ducatisti 'Doc', whom Borgo Panigale's management didn't want to believe, going so far as to organise a parallel test.

"They didn't trust Loris and Troy and called for a test at Mugello Rubens Xaus, which rode slower," says Carlo Pernat, who adds, "crazy stuff!"
