MotoGP: Lorenzo: "Buriram the worst track at which to be injured"

This morning, circuit doctors at Buriram saw Lorenzo and gave him the UK to compete in the Thai GP. Jorge is still walking with crutches, having fractured the second metatarsal on his right foot at Aragon.

An injury that will make for a tricky weekend.

It's not easy. I think it will be hard to push on the footpeg with my foot. I don't expect to feel good on the bike”.

His condition is improving though.

Little by little, day by day, the pain lessens, but I don't want to jump to any conclusions before I get on the bike and see how I feel", he comments.

Lorenzo has always shown that he knows how to grit his teeth in a tough situation.

“This is probably the worst track at which to be carrying an injury It was difficult for me to be competitive in testing, but it's also true that a lot has changed since and we are faster now. The injury won't help be to be faster though, we'll wait and see how I am in the first practice”.
