Baptism of fire at Losail for Franco Morbidelli. The free practice sessions on Friday officially opened the MotoGP adventure for the Roman rider. Tomorrow Morbidelli’s first MotoGP qualifiers await, which we know allows the top two riders in Q1 to go straight through to Q2, where the top ten wait. It is a different format than the one he was accustomed to in Moto2.
