Fast track: The second highest average speed on the World Championship calendar (182 km/h) behind only the Red Bull Ring (Austria).
Very abrasive asphalt: This causes heavy tire wear.
High speed corners: Very demanding on the left side of the tires.
Asymmetric tires: The left side is sti er, in order to withstand degradation.
Riding a ected by the wind: The bikes become much heavier when changing direction.
Turn 11 and 12: One of the critical points of the circuit. The last two corners before entering
the fnish line. Two very fast, owing left-handers. They are taken under acceleration, with the bike leaned over. They require high speed to take
advantage of the straight, on which there is usually a headwind.
