Kenan Sofuoglu injures himself in training

Injuring yourself and breaking a bone is never fun, particularly if you are a professional motorcycle rider, in a sport in which full use of your upper and lower limbs is essential.

When an injury comes just before the start of the racing season, the physical pain is combined with a knock to the morale and any action can prove decisive: Kenan Sofuoglu, having fractured his right wrist while training (yes, the one he needs to twist the throttle), is awaiting further medical tests in which doctors will establish whether he needs to undergo surgery or not.

A serious setback for the five-time Supersport world champion who, with the 2017 just around the corner, was preparing for the upcoming tests in Spain with his Kawasaki ZX6R, the bike with which he has promised to achieve further success.
