SBK, Joshua Brookes at Phillip Island as a wild card

The rider from Sidney will race in the Australian round astride a team ER Motosports Yamaha R1

Joshua Brookes at Phillip Island as a wild card

Joshua Brookes will also be at the 2017 Suberbike opener but, for now, only as a wild card in his home race at Phillip Island.

The rider from Sidney, already registered in BSB with a Yamaha R1, will be at the opening race on a track that he knows well and loves and he will be there with the same bike he rode to win the English championship in 2015, outperforming his English rivals.

He is highly motivated and proud to have this opportunity that could give him the chance to cancel out a 2016 season where he struggled astride the team Milwaukee BMW: “I'll be at Phillip Island with a small, but expert and motivated team - Joshua promised - I have had a lot of input in every aspect of this presence in Australia and I'm quite proud of everything the staff and I are doing.”

For the moment, Brookes is the only rider from down under scheduled to ride in the Australian opening round, so he will have a big chunk of the spotlight.
