Hayden's 2016 Honda to race in the Tourist Trophy

Just one more week and then Honda will finally unveil the new bike in the Jerez tests on 24 and 25 January. On the other hand, we will see the 2016 model whizzing across the Isle of Man for the Tourist Trophy. You read correctly! In fact, Lee Johnston will be astride the CBR1000RR that was used with Nicky Hayden in May in Sepang.

The team will also have the new Fireblade SP2 available to them, although it is unlikely that it will be used. In the meantime, Johnston is chomping at the bit to begin the new adventure: "In the 600 category I managed to set the record at Northwest and Ulster, plus I won several races. With the new bike I have all my papers in order to finish on a higher step of the podium."
