MotoGP raised 12,159.69 Euro that will be donated to the victims of the earthquake that hit Central Italy last year. The funds were donated to the Spanish Red Cross who in turn will transfer them to the Italian counterpart.

A fund raising campaign began in Silverstone ahead of the British GP, encouraging the sale of charity T-shirts.

Riders and their teams, organisers, sponsors and fans bought T-shirts to support the cause and the 12 thousand Euro raised will be received by the Italian Red Cross in the coming days.
