Marc Marquez, him again! In case we were in any doubt, #93 did it again at Aragon, extending his championship lead. He's now 16 ahead of Dovizioso, only seventh in the race behind Aleix Espargarò on the Aprilia. A disappointed Sunday for the Italian, but a positive one for Lorenzo, a star of the show on his red bike, as was Valentino Rossi who, just 23 days after fracturing his tibia and fibula, scored a memorable fifth place finish behind Vinales.

This is what went down at Motorland according to our very own Carlo Pernat.

There's nothing you can do when up against a Marquez like that– comments the Italian manager - despite the crashes, the title is his to lose, and his alone. Marc says that he pushed hard at Aragon – he recalls - but I think he played cat and mouse, and when he decided to break away, he did just that. He's great to watch when he's like that and I'd say that he'll beat Rossi's nine titles, because he's young and has a long career ahead of him”.

A bittersweet Sunday in the Ducati camp, with Lorenzo and Dovizoso in perfect Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde style: “Jorge is starting to understand how to ride the bike – continues Pernat - yesterday he had a long-term strategy, we'll see if it continues over the next races. Dovi seems to be back to his old self, he seems to have changed – he reveals -there's still time to catch up though and I'm sure he'll give it his all”.

What about the performance by the KTM, in the top ten once again: “They've made important steps forward, as has Aprilia – comments the manager - they'll soon be up there with the best, you'll see. Kallio showed his real potential and then the RS-GP is proving very reliable”.

Another tough Sunday for Suzuki: “The suffering continues for Iannone and Rins, but I'm sure that the issues will be resolved next season with the new bike”.

His final words are for Rossi: “Vale has shown how much he loves bikes and vice versa – he concludes - to say he was miraculous is an understatement. I will simply say well done, we need you!”.
