Moto2, Austria: Schrötter waves the white flag, Kent to sub for him

Dynavolt Intact GP has decided to rely on the British rider for the Red Bull Ring round alongside Sandro Cortese

Moto2: Austria: Schrötter waves the white flag, Kent to sub for him

It's a no go for Marcel Schrotter. The fracture to his left scaphoide had forced the rider to skip the Brno round. However, he wanted to grit his teeth to be there this weekend on the Red Bull Ring. In the end, following the surgery he underwent on Monday, the team Dynavolt Intact GP rider had to throw in the towel, once again waving the white flag.

Subbing for him, therefore, will be Danny Kent who, as we all know, split from Kiefer Racing at the beginning of the season. The 2015 Moto3 world champion will therefore be on the track for the GP of Austria after subbing for Antonelli on the Sachsenring and Lecuona at Mugello: “I would like to thank the team for this great opportunity – the rider commented – I have worked with them in the past and I am sure that we will be able to do a good job. I will need to get used to riding a Moto2 bike and the Suter – he added – They told me that it has changed a lot, but I will give 100% from the first free practice session.”
