SBK: Official: Davide Giugliano to ride the Honda at the Lausitzring

The news broke over the weekend and now it's official. Davide Giugliano will take part in tests at the Lausitzring, on board the Honda. After his BSB experience, the Italian will be on track with the Fireblade SP2 on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Ten Kate had no doubts about who to choose for the two-day test: “Despite the summer break, our team continues to work – confirms the team owner – the aim is to be ready for the second part of the season and to have a competitive bike. For this reason we'll be in Germany to test some updates – he adds – I want to thank Matteo Magnoni and also Davide Giugliano for their willingness to join us. Their contribution will be useful for the team and for Bradl, currently in Japan for the Suzuka 8 Hours”.

It is still to be established who Honda will select to ride alongside Bradl at the Lausitz round on 19-20 August. As we know, Gagne was only hired to race at Laguna Seca.
