Who said that a market without any big names couldn't be interesting? After Petrucci attracted attention as he chose between Aprilia and Ducati, the spotlight is now on Jack Miller.

Miller's future is not yet certain, but his adventure with Honda, the manufacturer who spent three years investing in time, as he moved from MotoGP, is definitely overThe Australian hoped to renew his contract directly with HRC, but conditions were not right and he did not want to sign with team Marc VDS, with which he currently races.

Furthermore, aside from his win at Assen last year, Miller hasn't stood out and statements about the competitiveness of his bike in recent weeks have not gone unnoticed.

Jack, and his manager Aki Ajo, has therefore starting looking around, knocking on many, if not all, doors. Starting with Aprilia, then Suzuki (hoping for an Iannone divorce) and finally Ducati.

The latter route is the most likely as Borgo Panigale has already shown interest, but everything came to a stop due to Australian's financial requests. Now that Honda is no longer on the other side, his contractual bargaining strength is weaker and negotiations may resume.

To go where? Miller's place would be with the Pramac team in place of Redding, in the ‘junior’ Ducati squad. Campinoti's team, having achieved its first goal of re-signing Danilo, can now turn its attentions to the second bike, knowing it has the upper hand.

Jack's leaving creates problems for Marc VDS, that now has an empty seat to fill. With Alex Marquez having already confirmed he's staying in Moto2, there are not many riders to aim for. Aside from the usual Bautista, who seems to have become the parsley of the market, working wherever you put him.
