The news of Nicky Hayden's death left the entire world of motorcycling in tears. This is not simply a catch phrase for the circumstances, because the Kentucky Kid had truly earned a place in the hearts of many with his cheerful disposition, his kind nature and his passion that came through in every action and word.
After the sad announcement, the social networks became sounding boards for the pain. A photo and a few words to bid Nicky a fond farewell and to show support for his family.
Riders, staff and fans said goodbye to Nicky with an image or a memory that they will keep in their hearts or minds.
