Moto2: Danny Kent breaks up with team Kiefer Racing

Team Kiefer Racing and Danny Kent have parted ways. Announcing the split from the team was the British rider himself on his Facebook profile.

Due to irreconcilable differences I've decided to part ways with Kiefer Racing and the Moto2 Team - he wrote - It's been a difficult period since joining the team and I don't feel I'm able to reach my potential so I've decided to step away. I'm still hungry and determined and believe I can be competitive in Moto2 in the right surroundings. I wish Kiefer Racing all the best for the future”.

The team manager Stefan Kiefer commented: “Danny told us after the warm up session, that he doesn’t want to participate in the race because he doesn’t feel physically capable of doing so. This is, of course, difficult to understand from the team’s point of view. Further proceedings in this matter for the upcoming race will be announced by this Thursday.
