MotoGP: Iannone: false start? they can change the rule

Andrea Iannone wants to quickly forget Argentina and not dwell on the past. “the best thing is to forget, I'm over all this negativity", states the Italian. His race was compromised by a ride through for a false start, though things might change after what happened there.

I've spoken about it with Webb, the Race Director and he also understands that I gained no advantage -  he explains - The problem is that the photocell reads even the slightest movement, but often the penalty is great for a small mistake. I was pleased to hear that they are open to listening and we'll talk about it in the Safety Commission, if we're in agreement that rule may change.

Andrea then turns his attention to his results on track.

We need to react - he admits - Right now we have good potential and can fight for the first 6 or 7 places. We can more competitive at certain tracks, less at others, but we always need to do the best we can”.

Starting with Texas.

I don't know exactly what to expect fro the bike, having never ridden it here, for me it's always new - he explains - But last year I put on a good fight here, reaching the podium”.

Iannone doesn't hide the fact this his Suzuki has some issues and he hopes that the 2016 front tyre may also help, though he has to do without it at both Austin and Jerez.

I'd like to see if it can help us, considering the many crashes in Argentina perhaps those who didn't want it have now changed their minds”.
