Moto2: First pole position for Oliveira and the KTM

The rain at Termas de Rio Hondo comes and goes, and the Moto2 riders also found themselves having to deal with that. The track was mainly wet as the session began, but then gradually dried as time ran out. The rider who best interpreted the conditions was one of Friday's frontrunners, or rather Miguel Oliveira, who awards KTM (as well as himself) its first pole in Moto2. Second for Franco Morbidelli, who proves his form, just missing out on pole by 0.099 of a second and preceding the other Marc Vds rider Alex Marquez (+0.248), who had led for most of the session.

Fourth for Tom Luthi ahead of a surprising Jesko Raffin and Mattia Pasini (+0.528), who really seems at ease on the Argentinian track. Seventh for Sandro Cortese, followed by Xavi Vierge and Xavier Simeon, with Lorenzo Baldassarri rounding out the top ten, eight tenths from Oliveira.
