For Ducati there will be three days of intense work in Jerez from today through Thursday. As we had already reported, the Reds chose the Spanish circuit for their first private tests of the season with the factory riders.

Opening the dances will be tester Michele Pirro, who will be on the Desmosedici today (he is in the video you can see above by clicking on the image with the GP17 up on the stand in the garage). Tomorrow the tester will be joined by Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo, whereas on Thursday he will be alone on the track again.

The Ducati factory team had not yet taken advantage of the 5 days of testing available this year and they decided to do so in Jerez, a traditionally tough track for the characteristics of the bike from Bologna.

For Lorenzo it will be extremely important to continue increasing his confidence on the Desmosedici after his bland performance in Qatar. We would also presume that the men in red, far from the view of prying eyes, will continue work on the new fairing evolution which has still not be homologated.
