The rumours had been circulating for a while and it's now official. As we had already predicted, Leandro Mercado will return to Superbike next season. The confirmation of Xavi Forés' in the Barni team has left the South American free to move to Iodaracing.

After three years with Ducati, in 2017 we'll see Tati on the Aprilia. He is excited about the new adventure: “I can't wait to get started – he has revealed – I'm really pleased to be able to race in the top class again and I'll do my best to repay the trust that Giampiero Sacchi is putting in me”.

That's not the only news for Iodaracing, as next year will also see the team take part in the SSP300 championship with young rider Armando Pontone, who will compete with a Yamaha R3.
