The agreement between Mahindra and Max Biaggi is now official. The Italian will be an ambassador for the Indian manufacturer and Team Manager of a team that will compete in the Italian CIV championship and in some CEV races, in Moto3 naturally.

The six-time world champion will have the official support of Mahindra and will run two young Italian riders, Alessandro Del Bianco and Davide Baldini.

My passion for racing is still great and I want to give back - said Biaggi - With this project I hope to help young Italian talents to fulfill their dreams of racing and winning world championships. Mahindra has made incredible progress during 2016 and it's clear to me that MGP3O can be a winning bike. I approached Mahindra because I know that together we can fight at the front. They are offering me a high level of support and I want to thank them. I'm sure that 2017 will be a fantastic year for all of us”.

The CEO of the Indian company, Mufaddal Choonia, added: “Mahindra is focused on helping people to achieve their dream and this is also Max's goal in his new role as team manager and ambassador. We're pleased to help him in this new phase of his career, offering him the necessary support. Max has enjoyed enormous success and know what it takes to win. The fact he's chosen Mahindra as a partner is a great demonstration of his trust in the brand and in the MGP3O”.
