Moto3, Nicolò Bulega, a €300 rude gesture

Fined at Aragón. Livio Loi relegated to last place for using a non-approved gearbox

Nicolò Bulega, a €300 rude gesture

The IRTA had announced that rude gestures on the track would no longer be tolerated, and they have kept their word. The first rider slapped with a fine for having sent a rival to hell was Nicolò Bulega. The slightly warm and very Latin gesture cost the Italian 300 Euros.

Much more severe, on the other hand, was the penalty levied against Livio Loi, who was 3rd in qualifying. Technical checks found a non-approved gearbox on his Honda and, disqualified from the session, he will start from the last spot on the grid tomorrow.

Ramirez was instead penalized 3 spots on the grid for having slowed down in three sectors during FP3. Pawi did the same thing, but, being a repeat offender, he was penalized 5 spots and one championship point.

Syahrin, on the other hand, had his wallet lightened 300 Euros for having conducted a test at Valencia without informing Race Direction ahead of time.
