Andrea Iannone will have to grit his teeth at Aragón. After fracturing the third vertebra in Misano, the rider from Vasto will be in Spain and his number one enemy will be the pain. The track doctors will first of all subject him to a medical check on Thursday morning and then decide whether or not to give him the OK to get on the bike. After that, it will all be in his hands.

Over the past days I have tried to recover by resting up after the accident, but I still have a bit of pain in my back - admits Iannone - We'll see what the doctors say at Aragón, but I will definitely try to race and I will try to do my best, as always. I hope I am able to be fit enough and to keep the pain under control, because I think this could be a positive circuit for us, given the fact that last year we had a great race here.

Andrea Dovizioso, on the other hand, is perfectly fit and keen for redemption after a couple of races where he was unable to set his sights on the podium. Motorland is a track with different characteristics from the Italian track and it will be a chance to reverse the trend.

Aragón is a very particular track and completely different from Misano, and this year every race is an unknown because of the new controlled tyre supplier, but the situation is the same for everyone, so we are going to Spain with our minds open and a goal of achieving the best possible result - says Andrea -  At Misano things did not go as we had hoped and I was unable to battle for the podium, but we know that we can be fast on almost all the tracks, so we will put forth our best effort to make it a good weekend.
