MotoGP, Test Misano: sprained knee for Dovizioso

Andrea Dovizioso's test day at Misano can be summed up as follows: ninety-three laps, a best time 1’33”195 but also a small crash at turn 4, on his very last lap, in which he suffered a sprain to his right knee.

The Ducati team, absent from the post-race test at Brno, chose to best prepare themselves for their home race. The two Andreas enjoyed perfect weather conditions with an air temperature of 28°C and the track at 45°C.

The fastest rider was Iannone, who did slightly better than his team-mate, stopping the clocks at 1’33”115 (to give you a comparison, this is roughly a second from the pole time set by Lorenzo during last season's event).
