Romano Fenati will not compete in the Austrian GP tomorrow. The news arrived at the Red Bull Ring this evening: team Sky VR46 has suspended the rider from Ascoli Piceno. In recent months, there had already been friction between Fenati and the team, but the situation worsened.
The press release is very brief and reads: "Following repeated behaviour not in line with the disciplinary rules of a team, the rider Romano Fenati has been suspended and will therefore not be on the starting grid of the Austrian Grand Prix."
It seems that Romano had some clashes with some members of the team (not with his teammates) and this is what led to the decision. For the moment, the decision only refers to the Austrian race and the rider has already left the circuit. In the coming days we will find out if this is a definitive break or if the situation can still be mended.
