There is always a lot of curiosity when you come to a new track, and today the MotoGP riders had to learn the Red Bull Ring. The Pramac Team riders are pleased with their first day. Redding finished with the 4th best time and Petrucci with the 8th.

The two riders like the Austrian track, but Scott points out a few critical issues.

“The first impression here has been really nice, to be honest, but the track is a little bit dangerous in my opinion for MotoGP bikes. It’s quite close to the Armco in a few places – the Brit explains – The track layout is really nice though, with many up, many down, a lot of blind corners.

Danilo also says his piece about the new track, taking stock of the day’s activities.

It went quite well. It’s only the first day and since it is a new track for everyone, we don’t have any data - Petrucci explains – In the end it didn’t go too badly, but the track is more difficult than it seemed on paper. It’s quite tricky: ups, downs, blind corners. It’s a very particular track, but nice.”

Tomorrow there will be another day of testing.

We’ll work on race distance. Today we were fast, but we were wearing the tyres too much”, the rider from Terni concludes.
