Grand Prix motorcycle racing in Germany until 2021

Grand Prix motorcycle racing will continue to have a German round for the next five years, but it is still not certain on which circuit. In fact, Dorna CEO, Carmelo Ezpeleta, and the president of ADAC Sport, Hermann Tomczyk, have extended the agreement until 2021.

This means that there will be a German GP round on the calendar, but they are still unsure which circuit will host it. The Sachsenring is logically at the top of the list, but over the past week the names of the Nurburgring and Hockenheim have also come up.

However, the Saxon track is in pole position: “Negotiations with the Sachsenring are in the pipeline. We hope to have the OK from our partner in Saxony in mid-August at the latest”, said Tomczyk.
